Girard-Perregaux, founded in 1791, is one of Switzerland's oldest and most prestigious watchmakers still in operation today. Girard-Perregaux - Sowind Group, a Swiss holding company, has been a subsidiary of the French luxury conglomerate Kering since 2011. It relies on the production of movements and timepieces, as well as cases and bands. It is most famous for the tourbillon with three gold bridges. Other notable models from the brand include the 1966 collection, Vintage 1945, and models like as the Tri-Axial Tourbillon and Laureato, a 1970s-influenced classic.
