Louis Erard

Founded in:
1929
Headquarters:
Le Noirmont, Switzerland

Louis Erard is a privately owned Swiss watch company that was established in 1929 by Louis Erard and André Perret. The company started making watches in 1931. The core of each of their products is the movement, which has been revisited, customised, and even made exclusive. The magical blue hour served as the inspiration for the LOUIS ERARD blue colour. It describes the period of time after the sun has set and the sky has turned dark blue for a while. Additionally, it is a classy tribute to the customary blue screws and hands used in Swiss watchmaking.
