IWC (International Watch Co.), first established by American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones in 1868, has been a division of the Swiss Richemont Group since 2000. The intricate design balances grandiose aspirations in each model produced by the brand, which is well-recognised for manufacturing pilot/aviation watches using titanium. In 2018, IWC took the top place among fifteen other Swiss watchmakers in receiving the WWF's "Ambitious" designation for their environmental initiatives.
