The New Frederique Constant Highlife Ladies Automatic Heart Beat Watch Is a Symphony in Green and Rose Gold

There’s no denying the fact that watchmakers’ newfound zest for the colour is leading to stunning timepieces.The new Highlife Ladies Automatic Heart Beat watch from Frederique Constant is a case in point. With a striking green dial and other bold and dynamic aesthetic elements, the watch is dedicated to confident women of the twenty-first century. 

Ever since its launch in 1999, Highlife has been a coveted Frederique Constant collection. Every year, the Swiss luxury watchmaker introduces new additions to the collection with signature complications and colour variations. The latest 34 mm (Ref. FC-310MPGRD2NH4B) model comes in a rose gold-plated stainless steel case. The globe motif on the dial of each watch is another impressive aspect of the newly launched Highlife Ladies Automatic Heart Beat collection. This motif stands for Earth and the brand's commitment to saving the planet, ensuring sustainability and promoting sensible living. Rose gold plating can also be found on the integrated lugs, the bezel and the crown at 3 o’clock.

The green dial also includes a heartbeat window at 12 o’clock, rose gold-plated 3, 6 and 9 o’clock with white luminous coating and eight rose gold-plated, diamond hour markers. What’s more, this time-only watch has hand-polished, rose gold-plated hour, minute hands, filled with white luminous treatment, while the seconds hand gets only rose gold plating. Powering the watch is the in-house automatic FC-310 calibre movement that can also be found in other Highlife models; it comes with a 38-hour power reserve. This movement is based on the Sellita calibre SW300-1 movement and comes with a diamond collimaçon decoration. Turning the watch over reveals a transparent sapphire crystal caseback with four visible screws and a rose gold oscillating weight. 

The new Highlife Ladies Automatic Heart Beat watch gets a three-link brushed and polished rose gold-plated bracelet with an additional green rubber strap featuring a folding buckle with push buttons. In other words, there are both integrated and interchangeable straps. The first link has the key to the integrated system for changing the strap without the need for any additional tool. This easy interchangeability transforms the watch from being a classic piece to being a sporty one.
