Panerai Introduces Two New Luminor Due TuttoOro Models

Panerai first unveiled the Luminor Due lineup in 2016, which saw the timepiece maker emerging from its comfort zone. Always known for its bold cases, this lineup was a feminine collection or meant for those wearers with small wrist sizes. After launching four versions of its moonphase collection, the Italian watchmaker has now, for the first time, unveiled two new models, Luminor Due TuttoOro on GoldtechTM bracelets. 

Both Panerai Luminor Due TuttoOro versions get a monochromatic look with GoldtechTM bracelets, 38 mm cases, the bezels, the signature safety lock crown protection and the sword-shaped protection hour and minute hands. The case and the bracelet incorporate high copper and platinum content, which is key to the timepiece maker’s DNA. While copper contributes to the deep, red tone of the metal, platinum ensures that the colour remains radiant and true.

On the one hand, there is PAM01182 that comes with a blue, sunbrushed dial and silver, bar-shaped Arabic hour markers. The dial also has a blue background and a white numeral date window at 3 o’clock, and a blue sunbrushed small seconds subdial with golden hands at 9 o’clock.

Then there is PAM01326 that has a white, sunbrushed dial, with golden, bar-shaped Arabic hour markers. The dial has a white background and a black numeral date window at 3 o’clock, and a white, sunbrushed small seconds subdial with golden hands at 9 o’clock.

The new Panerai Luminor Due TuttoOro models are powered by the Swiss watchmaker’s Calibre P.900 automatic movement that runs at a frequency of 28,800 vph and offers a power reserve of three days. It is the first Panerai movement of its size to combine the date function and a three-day power reserve.

Turning the watches reveals the see-through sapphire crystal caseback with the stainless steel oscillating weight. Panerai Luminor Due TuttoOro are available in two colors, white, and deep, only marine blue will be sold in Panerai boutiques exclusively.

Both watches come with water resistance of up to 30 metres.
