NORQAIN to Introduce Two New Wild ONE Versions at Dubai Watch Week 2023

NORQAIN is set to unveil two new additions to its Wild ONE series — the Wild ONE Gold and the Wild ONE All Black — at the Dubai Watch Week 2023, which will be held from November 16 to 20. NORQAIN is a fully independent, family-owned Swiss watch company, located in Nidau (Bienne), and is helmed by its Founder and CEO, Ben Küffer.

The new models retain the revolutionary Wild One case design, NORTEQ® technology, and the high-performance Kenissi Manufacture Calibres that define the series.

NORQAIN WILD ONE 42 MM GOLD LIMITED EDITION

The NORQAIN Wild ONE Gold, a limited-edition timepiece, marks a significant milestone: it’s the first watch in the Wild ONE series to incorporate solid gold into its case construction. The 42 mm case is ingeniously crafted, featuring a brushed and polished solid 18-carat red gold top section, juxtaposed with a base section, made from black NORTEQ®️, an exclusive, high-performance material, developed by the brand. This unique configuration, housing the watch's signature rubber shock absorber, ensures a shock-resistant luxury sports watch of exceptional performance.

Beneath the surface lies the chronometer-certified NORQAIN Manufacture Calibre NN20/1 by Kenissi, boasting a remarkable 70-hour power reserve. The movement, distinguished by its bespoke NORQAIN oscillating weight, is visible through the sapphire caseback and securely housed in a sandblasted titanium container.

In keeping with the brand’s responsible watchmaking strategy, the bezel and the lugs of the NORQAIN Wild ONE Gold watch showcase "PX Impact®️" 5N red gold, responsibly sourced from NORQAIN's Swiss partner, PX Group. This ethically obtained gold, free of mercury and fully traceable from artisanal mines, aligns with the watchmaker’s commitment to ensuring positive impact on mining communities.

Inspired by desert colours, particularly sunrise hue over dunes, the Wild ONE Gold is an ode to nature's beauty. Limited to 99 pieces, each watch is engraved with "FIRST EDITION, ONE of 99", denoting its status as the inaugural Wild ONE gold watch. An additional 100th piece will be created for a special auction next year, with proceeds benefiting UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

NORQAIN WILD ONE 42 MM ALL BLACK

Inspired by the serene darkness of a moonless desert night, the Wild ONE All Black, with its 42 mm case, echoes the desert theme of its gold counterpart. Maintaining identical base specifications, this iteration boasts an ultra-robust and ultra-light, all-black case, featuring black NORTEQ®️ sections, flanking a rubber shock absorber. Rigorously shock-tested to 5,000 g, it stands as the epitome of a high-performance sports watch.

Both models share common design elements, such as three-level, laser-cut dials, featuring the NORQAIN mandala-like motifs. The dials showcase gold- or black-plated hands and diamond-cut skeleton hour markers. Other noteworthy features include black rubber screw-down crowns and NORQAIN plates on the left flank — red gold on the Wild ONE Gold and black NORTEQ®️on the All Black model.

Completing the aesthetic, both watches are presented on integrated, animal cruelty-free, black rubber straps, each with a "Milanese" structure and a black NORTEQ®️ pin buckle. The Wild ONE Gold offers the additional option of a solid 18-carat red gold pin buckle. With water resistance of 200 metres, each of these watches comes with a four-year warranty, extendable to five years by joining the NORQAINER community.

The Wild ONE Gold is offered with a black mesh rubber strap and a black buckle, priced at INR 11,72,000*. An upgrade to a solid 18-carat 5N red gold pin buckle is available for INR 13,32,000*. This is presented in a specially designed watch box, accompanied by a NORQAIN watch winder. The Wild ONE All Black, featuring a black mesh rubber strap and a black buckle, is priced at INR 4,85,100*.
