Jaeger-LeCoultre’s The Stellar Odyssey Exhibition set to dazzle Dubai in February 2023

At last year’s Watches and Wonders, Geneva, Jaeger-LeCoultre dazzled audiences with the launch of The Stellar Odyssey collection, which pays tribute to the astronomical phenomena that lie at the heart of all origins of time measurement. This year, Dubai will host The Stellar Odyssey Exhibition, slated to run from 4th February to 23rd February. Dubai is the first stop of the collection’s tour of major world cities.

The exhibition will feature multi-media installations that will transport visitors through the cosmos. Expect to be enthralled by mesmerising art installations and multi-sensory experiences. Educational workshops based on the Stellar Odyssey theme will be taking place as well. Master Hybris Artistica Calibre 945

There are two references - Ref. Q5262470 in pink gold and Ref. Q5263481 Atomium in white gold, limited to just five pieces each. The centre of the dial has a celestial vault for the Northern Hemisphere with the latitude of Jaeger-LeCoultre's home in the Vallée de Joux that tracks the position of constellations on a real time basis.

The watch comes on a 45mm case and is powered by Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 945 automatic movement and delivers a power reserve of around 40 hours. Water resistant upto 50 metres, both the iterations have been paired with an alligator leather strap.

Polaris Perpetual Calendar

The perpetual calendar marks its debut in the Polaris collection. Calibre 868AA automatic movement — first introduced in 2013 — got an upgrade in 2022: the movement with the display of the Southern Hemisphere moon phases and a power reserve of 70 hours.

Taking into account the details of Polaris Mariner Memovox, the timepiece has three sub dials as the date, month, and day indicators are at 9, 12, and 3 o'clock respectively with the year displayed within the month indicator, and the moon phases are displayed at 6 o'clock.

Rendez-Vous Dazzling Star

The watch is presented with the dazzling beauty of the night sky on a dial made of blue aventurine for the Ref. Q3642470. The watch comes with three layers. The first is the oval of aventurine, beneath which is the second layer — a circular disc of aventurine with a cut-out of the shooting star which as the star passes reveals the third layer: a fixed disc of golden metal. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 734 movement finds its home inside a 36mm pink gold case and has a power reserve of around 70 hours.

Jaeger-LeCoultre will showcase the Stellar Odyssey collection  from Saturday 4^th to Thursday 23^rd February 2023 at the Dubai Fountain, Downtown Dubai.
