Heralding the Olympics: Omega Reveals its ‘Paris 2024’ Seamaster Diver 300M Watch
Omega has just released the Seamaster Diver 300M ‘Paris 2024’ Special Edition, a tribute to the forthcoming XXXIII Olympiad. With an impressive 31-time legacy as the Official Timekeeper dating back to 1932, Omega has meticulously prepared for its role in this historic event. With precisely one year until the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, the countdown has begun with the unveiling of the timepiece, boasting a touch of gold.
Exclusively available at Omega’s boutiques in Paris, the new 42 mm timepiece combines stainless steel with 18 ct Moonshine™️ Gold, a unique yellow gold alloy known for its enduring brilliance. As an Olympic Games timepiece, the incorporation of gold symbolises the coveted medals for participating athletes. The watch's bezel features a laser-structured diving scale in positive relief, accentuated by a single Super-LumiNova dot at 12 o'clock. Meeting the highest standards of precision and performance, the Omega Paris 2024 Seamaster Diver 300M watch houses the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8800, rigorously tested and certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
The laser-engraved white ceramic dial showcases polished waves in positive relief. At 6 o'clock, the date display creatively incorporates the Paris 2024 typography in black while the central seconds hand proudly bears the Paris 2024 emblem.
Adding to its uniqueness, the commemorative caseback features an 18 ct Moonshine™️ Gold medallion with the Paris 2024 emblem, set against a laser-ablated background. The caseback also displays the stamped words, "Paris 2024", and the iconic Olympic rings in stainless steel, elegantly completing the emblem.
The timepiece comes with a stainless steel bracelet featuring Omega's patented Quick Change System, allowing effortless swapping. Options include Quick Change rubber straps in blue, white or red and even a dedicated Paris 2024 NATO strap.
The Games are scheduled to begin on July 26, 2024. Clearly, Omega, with its 90-year history of advancing sports measurement technology and honouring world-class athletes, is set to capture unforgettable moments during this thrilling edition.
