H. Moser & Cie. Presents an Updated Version of its Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic

The Streamliner has been one of the most important novelties from the H. Moser & Cie. oeuvre, featuring the signature integrated bracelet. Since its launch in 2020, the novelty has seen multiple variations — take the tourbillon vantablack, the perpetual calendar or the green-and-salmon-dial version. Now, the brand has introduced a new version as a flyback model — the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic Funky Blue 2.0 (Ref. 6907-1200), with a slightly new movement.

The previous Flyback Chronograph that was released in 2020 had rounded curves, a 42.3 mm stainless steel case, integrated lugs and a bracelet, along with a dark sunray blue smoked dial. With the new model, the aesthetics seem to have been enhanced a bit. But don’t expect the watch to have undergone radical changes. This watch gets a monochromatic look as well since the stainless steel case and the bracelet are created as a singular unit in a 42.3 mm diameter.

Call it fumé or smoked or gradient, the dial is blue in colour, with a sunburst pattern. You can spot a tachymeter scale on the outer periphery. Instead of having hour markers, the watch has minute markers sporting an enlarged 60 at 12 o’clock with a logo made using transparent lacquer, which looks like a hidden signature. The hour and minute hands are made with Globologht, a ceramic-based material containing Super-LumiNova. There is a red central seconds hand as well. The watch has a crown at 4 o’clock, adorned with an engraved ‘M’, with two pushers at 10 ’clock and 2 o’clock to start and restart the function.

The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic Funky Blue 2.0 is powered by the self-winding, automatic Calibre HMC 907, developed with AGENHOR, an independent watchmaking company, based in Geneva, which specialises in creating complex watch mechanisms. Ensuring an increased power reserve of 72 hours, the movement now gets anthracite grey rhodium-plating for its bridges and main plate and a horizontal clutch with a friction wheel, along with a tungsten oscillating weight, positioned between the movement and the dial.

The winding of the watch is bidirectional and includes the horizontal clutch with a friction wheel (to avoid any issues when the teeth get intermeshed and reduce unwanted jerks). The timepiece also has Moser stripes, angled at 45°. Finishing the watch is an integrated steel bracelet with a folding clasp, featuring three steel blades, engraved with the ‘Moser’ logo. It is water-resistant to 120 metres; the timepiece function can be used on land and underwater.
